FSC - Forest Stewardship Council 

As part of our work to improve our products and due to the increased demands from our customers, Eightmood works with traceability certification (Chain of Custody Certification) of the forest-based materials and products that we use in our product development and collections. The Forest Stewardship Council is an international traceability organization with the goal to "encouraging environmentally sound, socially responsible and economically viable use of the world's forests." The traceability chain is the path products and/or materials take from extraction and production to the costumer, with an FSC claim or label. Eightmood's part in this chain involves a change in product ownership and therefore requires an internal management system and controls by an independent FSC-accredited certification body, in order for us to make FSC claims on our products. Our customers can therefore feel confident that Eightmood takes responsibility for our part of the supply chain.
