This season we started a styling collaboration with the Swedish Interior Stylist Daniella Witte. She did the photo styling of our moods Faraway and Bare Nordic. Daniella comes from the southern part of Sweden, where she lives with her family on a former horse farm, and also has her atelier and studio. We asked Daniella about her own style, which she describes as Scandinavian, with influences from various art forms and traveling.

Daniella’s three best styling tips

1. Try to reach a relaxed atmosphere instead of a perfectly staged interior. It makes the home more interesting and exciting.
2. Keep a simple and durable base in the interior. Choose adjacent hues and work tone in tone. Add the contrasts you want to stick out from the interior but remember to keep it balanced.
3. By adding greenery and finds from nature to the interior, you can create a down to earth mood which creates calm and pleasure for your senses.

“The artistic creation is part of my personality. I find my inspiration in long-lasting things, in nature and the different seasons. Honesty with myself is very important in my job and I believe in working with long-term sustainability. To find new energy and shake myself up, I love to take a cold winter dip in the ocean.”
